  • Summary judgement requested but seems stuck...

I requested a summary judgement over a week ago and CCJ through MCOL (no defence filed). My understanding is it would be a few days before issue but seems stuck on the system as "requested". Is it normal to go over a week or is it likely the Defendent put in a paper defence?

What you should receive by post is a "Notice of Judgment Entered".

You will need to telephone MCOL & ask it to email you a copy of the judgment itself.

It appears it varies by County Court. In London they typically don't issue it for a month after it's requested through MCOL to give the defendant more time to respond in paper form...
