Can I sue for compensation?

Hi all long story but I'll try to be brief I will state that I am a gas engineer and was self employed at the time, I sold my house December 2021 and following the completion of the sale the buyers accused me of removing the central heating boiler and substituting it with another one.I have no idea why they did it but it takes all sorts, I had provided all the correct paperwork for it to my solicitor and did try to reason with them because I thought they had mixed up the boiler with another property they viewed but to no avail. Eventually we went to court where the judge saw all the evidence and found in my favour. This took over a year and caused me much stress and anxiety and sleepless nights even though I had done no wrong. I feel I am due compensation for all of this trouble they caused me and my partner and the slur on my good name. My question is would this be possible? Or am I just going to accept they tried to defraud me and although I ultimately won in court the have got away with this ? Many thanks in advance Paul.

Sorry, but I think you need to let this one go. I cannot see any legal avenue of recourse open to you.
