    Which court?

    I am looking to ask for an injunction to get an organisation to answer a Subject Access Request that they have acknowledged but are not answering (this has been going on for over 7 months now). There will be little if any compensation other than at best for my time. But I am unclear if a small claims court is able to issue and injunction or court order or whether this goes to the county or high court?

    Please advise.

    You should start you case in the County Court. It may be allocated to Small Claims Track - or it may be allocated to another track..

    Just to be clear, there is no 'small claims court'. County Court claims are allocated to one of 3 tracks, Small claims track being one of them.

    Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

    Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

    If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
