  • Block hearing, Tandem Session, Back to back

I am preparing for my small claim case to be heard in court. We received a date but our hearing is scheduled to take place in a so-called back to back manner on the phone. Has anyone have experience with such a situation? I tried on the internet but discovered that this is a relatively new way of doing things. I am looking to read and learn from other people's experiences. Thanks a mill!

no, this is not new. Block listing of cases is how it has always been done. The idea is that the judge always has a case to hear, It matters not that the parties in several other cases and their lawyers are kept waiting.

Right. Okay. Thank you. Anything substantial about what I should prepare for, then?
