    Hi,

Grateful if someone could confirm either way if someone in the U.K. can serve papers in relation to a will challenge on someone in the EU (Spain) without court permission? My reading online seems to suggest that court permission must now be sought since Brexit in these cases ……but I might be wrong. Thank you

Since April 21, the permission of the court was no longer required if there is a contractual choice of English courts. It would seem that your matter does not fall into that category.

Hi, thanks for the reply so just so I am totally clear, you are agreeing that permission would still need to be sought in this case ( I.e a will challenge)? Sorry for being thick!
