  • Form N24 - Help needed! Please

    Hello All
In brief - over a period of 4 years I have wrangeld with a kitchen fitter, we received a postive result from the Ombusdsman scheme but then the company withdrew from that scheme so they did not have to comple. Moved on to small claims, they applied for an extension and I suggested mediation, they declined and now it has gone to the County Court. A solicitor is out of the financial question and I have been asked to complete Form N24 - if someone could point me in the direction of some guidance notes I would be very very grateful.
    Thanks all

You say "now it has gone to the County Court...... and I have been asked to complete Form N24"

Presumably the other party did not defend your claim and you have to request a default judgment

AFAIK there are no guidance notes, so you simply draft the order that you require along the lines of:

    It is ordered that:
    1. judgment for the sum of £xxx and interest to date of £xxx plus various fixed costs £xxx. Total £xxx
2 Above sums to be paid by 4pm on dd.mm.yy
