-Purchased a car for £900 and within a week it ceased to work and hasn't started since.
-Called dealership, couldn't have been less interested, simply said 'yeah old car don't sell it with warranty'.
-Began court proceedings and a judgement was issued against them almost three weeks ago; to date they have still ignored the claims.
-Online they were very tricky to find, company not registered with Companies House etc.
-I have since through a debtor tracer found the company owners name and home address.
My options now are as follows:
-Request warrant and continue to pursue the company for compensation.
-Amend claim and start proceedings again against the individual
-Start a new claim against the individual.
I'm really not sure which option yields the highest opportunity for success, I sadly don't mix in circles where I could simply 'send the boys round' so am somewhat limited in my options. Either way, any input would be greatly appreciated.
