Professional negligence

Hi,*

Does anyone know how to file a Professional negligence claim against a Barrister please? I just need a point in the right direction. If anyone can advise it would be much appreciated.* HNY to everyone !!

First follow the preaction protocol for Professional Negligence claims (https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/pr...tocol/prot_neg)
and then it's a claim form N1

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
