                  If the LL paid back a portion of the deposit back to me does that mean the tenancy agreement has come to an end (ie contract completed) and the LL cannot add additional 'damages'?

                  If I hire a car and they check the car and give me back the deposit they cannot subsequently claim I have damaged the car.
