Well that probably answers your earlier question as to whether you should go for a strike out.
You say they've sent you documents in response to your CCA Request so it's unlikely a DJ would strike out the claim at this early stage. He may take the view 'something is better than nothing' and it will up to a Trial Judge to decide whether the 'something' they've produced complies with s.78 or any other relevant sections of the Consumer Credit Act.
So you're left weighing up the pros and cons of agreeing an extension of time to file your Defence since they've not responded to your CPR 31.14 Request yet. When did you send it?
As you say, wait to see how the week pans out.
