Re: Capquest Investments limited court claim

I have and had nothing back from them but capquest have since sent me another letter today again saying they have requested the information from shop direct and have put my account on hold.

Online it only says my defence was received and a letter from court saying my defence has been sent to the claimant.

Am I meant to do anything now?
Surely they have to tell the court they want to put it on hold?

They have given me a date of 7th Feb 2017 with which they will provide an update.

I dont want to be seen as doing anything wrong my end.

I am guessing its up to them to put in their defence within 28 days of the court sending them mine or asking the court for more time?
I am just worried as I have since not heard anything else from the court and its been 2 weeks.

if they fail to case gets stayed, after 28 days + a few for court filing ring them for update and they will probably state o case stayed as claimant failed to respond

Yes 28 days + 5 for service from the date the claimant recd. your defence.
Any " On Hold" statement from claimant and/or solicitors should be ignored they do Not affect the court process.
