  • Court Claim Help. Total Novice. Arrow Global Ltd

Hi guys/gals, really need your help with a letter I received and how to respond to it.

I received a Sheriff Court letter through the door this morning. I live in Scotland. The letter refers to a debt I am said to have had with Arrow Global Ltd. It was a credit card debt bought from MBNA on December 20th 2011 for £650. It was originally defaulted on April 2010. I did however make some payments towards it under a debt management plan I had in place up until August 2012. Does this mean it cannot be considered statute barred? It doesn't appear on my credit report?

Are they just chancing their arm in bringing this to court now? If so, how do i go about contesting the case? Is it advisable to ask for a copy of the original credit agreement as it states in the letter that it was signed 29th Oct 1996. Are they likely to have a copy of something this old?

Sorry for all the questions, just a bit worried about what to do!
