  • HFO / Link V TheRossitron

This relates to an old claim, so I hope it's in the right place.

In 2006 my Barclaycard debt £3000 was sold to HFO who obtained a CCJ and charging order on my property. I was paying them from 2009-2015 but I had to stop. They have since sold the debt to link and the charging order has been amended.

We have had very little correspondence from Link and nothing since 2015. I have contacted them to request information but they haven't responded.

I guess what I would like to know is, does the selling of the debt change anything with regard to the charging order?

No the only changes would be to remove it or change the details. Which has happened it seems?

The order has been changed into Links name. Is there any way to fight this debt? a CCA request?

A county court judgment supersedes the original contract/agreement and the claimant has no obligation to respond to a CCA request.

Is there any reason for application to set aside the judgment, remember though to try this there is a fee of £225 and you must have a defence to the original claim that has a Reasonable Chance of Success.
