I sent both letters yesterday 1st class recorded the CPR request to the solicitors shows as delivered today at 8.40am but the CCA requst to lowell portfolio shows its still on its way.

i find it strange that lowell are 30 mins from me and its not been delivered, on the other hand solicitors are like 130 miles away and they got it today.

i hope lowell get it tomorrow.

I don't think distance from the posting point is something Royal Mail works to, post to addresses in our village travel 25 miles west then come back often days later.

Yes, you need to address and send the CPR 31.14 letter to the solicitors not their client (the Claimant).

Lowells Solicitors use a different address (in Northampton) to Lowells Portfolio/Group (in Leeds).

You should send it to the address shown on the Claim Form for sending documents (second box down on the left hand side).

It looks like you may have sent it to the wrong address.

You've stated that you have acknowledged the claim; the defence is not due to be filed until well into September.

look recorded delivery does record but Royal Mail are slow at times to give receipt, we all have had this problem in the pat - do not panic no doubt they have it and contact soon to state asking client for CCA1974 etc, as long as you have copy attached to letter Wednesday posting that is it.
