Yes I did the AoS as Nem advised online but did not submit a defence.

Good.

The defence is due into court 33 days after the issue date on the claim form (28 days + 5 for post).
It is importantl to be timely with court instructions.
As you have not yet received a response from your CPR request, the defence is likely to be a 'no documents' one, an example of which can be found at the top of this thread.

Thank you Charity.
Just to clarify , is it best to just submit my defence now rather than rely on Restons bothering to reply and Arrow coming up with an agreement if they can. I really don't want to miss the boat and get a default judgement .

IMHO

If it were me I'd wait until a couple of days before the deadline.
You never know what will transpire as a result of your requests, & if they (Claimant/solicitors) don't respond you can send the 'no docs' template defence (top of thread).
They might agree to a 28 day extension.
There's no advantage to you in submitting it early, just be timely.
