Hi guys, thanks for all the help in the past. I have sorted most of my old debts. But there was 1 old egg credit card debt. That's been taken over by barclayard. I have been paying this debt untill last month. I agreed to pay 10p/month. The reason I continued to pay this debt was bcoz it wasn't a debt management company, so wanted to make sure where I stand. After sending cca request, they replied saying they do not have it. Then I sent SAR request & got a bunch of few old statements. No credit agreements or anything. I have stopped payment to them now , they are threatening to register a default against me & refer me to certain agencies & debt collection agency. My question is Can they register a default against my name?? The account was defaulted may be 10 years ago, so I can't see it on my credit file or have any records of it. ALL of my other debts, are put on hold after my cca request as they couldn't produce it. But only the barclaycard is chasing me , and using other debt companies as well to chase me at the same time.
And each of their letter gives a slightly different amount of balance. U can't default the same account twice, can you?
Any advice on this. Thank you in advance.

Also I just noticed from a forum that you can send a letter after 14+30 days of not receiving cca , saying that the account is on dispute and raise s.10 cease & desist. (Meaning they can't process my data any longer and have to delete my records )
    Is that right??

      Re: eggcard

They have replied to me saying that they have satisfied many things, even though the letter I received before said they cant satisfy the CCA request.
Now the letter gives example of court cases and justifying me to pay and that they can report me to CRAs.

I can upload the letter. pls advice.
I have uploaded both replies I got from them, the first after I sent CCa request. The other after I sent a letter saying you haven't complied fully with the cca request, & therefore theaccount is in dispute, etc, etc,.

      Thank you
(last 3 files are the last reply)
