  • Notice of Application for Attachment of Earnings Order - Hoist Portfolio Holding Ltd

I received a letter, from the courts... I think, this morning (23/04/16) for an application for Attachment of Earnings. The Creditor is Hoist Portfolio Holdings 2 Ltd. I've attached the whole letter.

I've no idea if this is a real letter, it has no court stamp on it. Who to contact, Hoist,
Howard Cohen & Co Solicitors, or County Court Money Claims Centre (Would I be correct in assuming the Salford M5 0BY address at the footer of the page is the court I deal with?).

I'm currently oblivious to having a CCJ for this debt. So, I went onto ClearScore and looked. To my astonishment I seen I've been issued one in February of this year... I think. I've attached a screen shot. The case reference, on ClearScore, matches the case number on letter from the court.

I immediately went through any letters I've kept regarding debt, I found one letter dated from 15thof July. That's the only other letter I have from Hoist. I've nothing to tell me of this CCJ at all. I have had no other contact with this company. I've not spoken or written to them ever. I've attached the only letters I can find with regards to Hoist. The only other mention is in a letter from Robinson Way, which notifies me that my account is being handed over to the solicitors on the court letter, Howard,Cohen & Co. I've no letters from Robinson Way, nor Howard, Cohen & Co that inform me of this CCJ.

The debt is Santander and must be, at the least, 8yrs old. As I incurred all my debt when I separated, which was around that time. As far as I know/am aware, I never had a CCJ for this until now, and I've received nothing around February of this year to say I had.

This has got me ill with worry, I have chronic anxiety. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. Obviously I don't want a warrant out for my arrest, and to spend 14 days in prison. I've tried looking on the CCMCC website to see the case, but don't know how to. I've tried reading similar threads and I'm finding it all very confusing. Could someone please give me some clear guidance.

    Thanks in advance.

I've also been on MCOL and registered. I can't move forward though, as I don't have a defence pack password. Although, I've been given warning letter... I think... from Robinson Way, I have not been given a warning letter from Howard, Cohen & Co. Nor have I been given a defence pack, nor have I received anything to say that a CCJ was issued. Sorry, I'm an absolute novice.
