would I be best to write to solicitors (weightmans) asking for a 28 day extension, what would I need to write? is there any template Yes ask for an extension to prepare your defence as you are waiting for documents.
You have already acknowledged the claim so no more forms to be sent now.

Now about to post those letters, one thing I need help with please...

on the template for extension, it asks for the current deadline for submission, in my case, what would that be?

court letter dated:10/02/2016
received and acknowledged:13/02/2016

how many days from which one do I have to get the evidence from them to file my defence, 28 days from the 10th?

do I ask for 28 days on top of this date or 28 days from (today) if I send it today.
