  • n181 howard cohen

Hi thanks for having such an informative site I have been looking through but I couldnt find the answer I was lookingfor.

    I received a claimform on 14th May 15 for a Lloyds debt which I believe is a loan/credit card.
I defended the claim, it was acknowledged. Received a letter from court acknowledging this 15thJune.
On 16th july received a notice of proposed allocatio to fast track and a request to complete n181 by 17th aug 15, not completed yet.
17th july I then received a letter from howrd cohen stating client instructed to discontinue and notice of discontuance has been lodged with court n279.
On 5th aug received a copy of draft directions and a questionnaire n181 completed by howard cohen.
I am confused and dont know what to do next, I need to complete the questionnaire n181 by 17th Aug but not surehow.
I have requested documents but not received, i agree i owe something but not the amount stated as on the letter it claims £ 16345 but on court papers it states £20200 plus costs.

Could you please advise what I should do please I would be most grateful. I always kept up with all payments until oct09 when partner works was zero I worked part time with one child and one on the way and father going through early stages of dementia, so I have not been able to deal with anything over the last few years and I'm at a complete loss what todo next.

    Thanks for your helpful site.

        Yes certainly do so!

This does seem a little odd, and the quickest way to get answer is to phone the court.
