  • Counter claim

    Hi
I am being sued and wish to lodge a counter claim. The pursuer did some work in my house which is shoddy and has refused to fix it properly. He's suing me for the bill I haven't paid. However, the cost of getting someone in to fix the work will be more than his bill so I'm doing a counter claim. I'm not sure how much to claim for i.e. do I claim just the additional cost (i.e. I don't pay him back any money at all, he just pays me the additional amount it will cost) or do I claim for the whole cost (essentially that I pay him his bill but then he pays me an even greater sum back)?

    Thanks
