    When you switched to Nationwide - did they move your DD's etc over or did you just open an account and do it yourselves ? (ie could there be an argument that the bank made an error in leaving the Virgin DD set up ?)

      No i switched them over.. VM as usual don't listen to what you tell them my names been wrong on my account for close to 8 years.

      It was my mistake unfortunately, sadly the account never had a O/D so was being charged loads per day before i even knew about it..
      I find it strange they paid the bill and didn't refuse it?

      it was a long time ago tho so might be wrong with some of these things

        can anyone help?

        i sent a letter to Bryan Carter offering £130 for full and final and have heard nothing since?!? My time is running out can my wife just ring them and make a offer?

        NOTE: If you receive a court claim note these dates in your calendar ...
        Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

        Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

        If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
