Re: URGENT can i appeal against the award of costs in a county court case?

If I sue someone in court and its found that they were not the person liable maybe I wrote J Smith instead of JSmythe would it not be right I pay his costs ? A lTD company has a Name that's registered so its that company that's liable not one with a slightly different name.

Worth pursuing the other claim but remember you can lose there.

So you were claiming missold PPI of £775.55 ? The claim should have been against Santander as it were they who sold you the PPI. Did you take it to FOS ? What happened with the consent order ? You signed it they withdrew the claim and you withdrew the counterclaim ? Did you continue your claim for missold PPI ?

Sorry forget "success but how far to push it" that was bhs card.

May be I haven't shown you this one yet. It gets confusing when you have two arguments with Santander going at the same time. (The consent order thing - we agreed to a draw credit file ammended) though we did get a couple of debt collector letters after sorted eventually.

When I get home I'll try to upload original spread for this case.

Ok Ta. The case was struck out as the PPI reclaim is for misselling and should be bought against they who sold you the PPI. We recommend going through the FOS for PPI reclaims rather than court. So you are going to have to swallow those costs unfortunately.
