Hi, I'm new here so apologies if theres any forum etiquette not adhered to!
I received a letter on Saturday 7th from Northampton CC informing me of a claim issued by HL Legal regarding a T-Mobile debt which defaulted around June 2008.
I have previously heard from Capquest about this and asked them to send me the credit agreement etc, but never heard back although on further research I didnt make an official request which perhaps I should have.
I'm tempted to defend this, as I'm 99% certain I never signed a credit agreement as it was an online transaction I think but I do have some questions.
What would the costs be if I chose to defend this and lose? I assume I will then be issued a CCJ? How will this affect my credit rating going forward?
The date of issue is 4th December so I don't have much time to decide, any help would be massively appreciated!
