So, I am still going through documentation as some things I don’t understand and just needing to clarify. But in the meantime I emailed them to ask for more time to seek further support and they just stated “thanks for your email, which is understood. We await confirmation of your position”. Today I have received the Claimants directions questionnaire. Looks like they want to be heard remotely via MS teams for mediation. Now I have some big changes upcoming, I won’t have any job from 11th December, I’m not even going to be in the country. I don’t have any savings that I can offer them to settle. Where should I go from here?

Good.

The Court will send you a copy to be filled in. You send a copy to the Court and a copy to Overdales.
You want Mediation providing they have sent you all the requested documentation.

You can pretty much do everything via email, Teams, phone etc. It really is a case of 'keeping on top' of everything.

O.K. as there is an 'upheaval in your circumstances', I'm not saying 'this case can't be defended'.
You could fill in an income / expenditure form, if after filling it in, you are left with £1 to pay off the debt each month, so be it.
It is a non - priority debt, that's all a Court would ask you to pay. Remember the 'cost of living crisis', so you need to make allowance for that, energy, food etc.
