My wife needed a legal letter to use to solve a legal issue between herself and her brother in-law.
Her brother in-law's lawyer said he'd write it for her to save her time and effort in a show of "good will"
She received it from him, signed it and sent it back.
It turns out he had cleverly written it in a way that made my wife appear guilty/responsible.
He's now trying to use it as evidence against her.
We have proof he wrote it.
Surely what this lawyer has done is illegal in any court?
