Judgement for claimant (in default)

Hello
even though I replied to and sent the claim within the specified time, the sent me the above. I do not acknowledge the debt because I did not enter into an agreement with the original creditor before they sold it to a debt collection agency.
Must I submit another form to challenge the letter mentioned,titled above?

Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
