  • County court claim form parking fee

    Hello.
I received a letter today from County Court Business Centre , a claim form for a parking fee. I am confused as I don't know exactly in what I got into and how serious it is.
    This is My story;
In 2021 May I parked on disabled parking at Middlesex Hospital ,because I had an appointment, being a regular patients(every week). On that day I forgot to display my disable badge because I was late to my appointment. When I got back I met the parking officer putting the parking fee in my windscreen. I showed him my blue badge but he said its too late but not to worry because I can make an appeal online. I did at the same day, but I have not received any reference confirmation for my claim on email ,due to some problems on their system and my claim was still in progress even the second day.
When I noticed the issue, I took a photo on my laptop screen with the claim in progress. For a while was quiet and I did not pay attention anymore to this problem.
After a while I received directly a letter from a Recovery debts company saying that I have to pay £170!
I contacted quickly the parking company online , I sent all my evidences hopping that they will cancel the fee, but they replied back, that I have to deal with the debts company now as they passed this to them.
I tried so many times to contact them to discuss , I even send messages on their website ,using my PCN , explained everything but with no success as they have never replied back.On their number , I didn’t have any other options other than to pay.
Now I received this Claim form from County Court.
I really need someone to help me in this matter. What should I do?
I look forward to hearing from you.
    Many thanks in advance

Have you taken this to PALS at the hospital?

Do the sighs state that you must display a blue badge? Or is it just a disabled bay?

I just want to know what to do? Should I fill in the form? if so, which part do I need to complete? What will happen if I don't complete it? It is the first time I face this problem and I would like those who knows , to guide me.
            options are:
if I admit full amount claim -Form 1
if I admit part of the amount- Form 2
If I dispute the while claim and want to make a counterclaim against the claimant - Form 3
Or if I wish to contest the court’s jurisdiction. - Form4
