I issued a claim on line agaist a travel agent over a suitable refund for a cancelled return flight last April at the height of the Covid crisis. I issued the claim action following a rejected Section 75 claim. i have now received a Notice of allocation to the small claims track.
It says unles the claimant by (time and date) pay to the court the Trial Fee of £25or file a properly completed application(ie one that provides all theinformation ina manner requested) for help with fees , then claim the claim will be struck out etc etc. you will also be liable for the cost the Defendent has incurred.
I registered the claim on line and paid £25. Is the £25 asked for a Trial Fee and additional fee of the same one that I have already paid. I made an itemised witness statement and supplied supporting documentation and handed this in to the court over a month ago.
I am now very concerned as I can't get an answer to waht this is all about and I could be liable for costs. I thought that I had doen everything required of me.
