  • N180 Directions Questionnaire and Claim Response

    Hello,

    Perhaps somebody can help/advise me on a way forward with completion of the above forms.

    I did complete the forms back in January'21 on behalf of my daughter who suffers from a mental health illness. Unfortunately the forms haven't been accepted and I have received an email that explains ;

    Your claim response has been removed and the Directions Questionnaire has been returned to you as invalid because these have been signed by a third party. These cannot be accepted, as any response must be signed by the defendant or their authorised legal representative.

    At the time that I completed the N180 and Claim Response I had applied for Lasting Power of Attorney but hadn't at that time received it however, I have received a letter today explaining that the LPA has been registered. Can somebody explain how to use the LPA with the court?

    Thankyou

    F.

    Cannot help you but am very interested in a response as I too would like and explanation as to how an LPA can be used with the court. If anyone can advise, of course.
