So, I'm out of practice.... VCS default judgment
This ok you think? or do we have something more formalised for dealing with the parking default CCJ cases nowadays ? can't really say set aside and I'll pay it, as with no documentation we have no idea if it is a legitimate claim.
Dear Parking Company
County Court Judgment: XXXXXXX
Date of Judgment: xx/xx/xxxx
Amount of Judgment: xxxxx
I became aware from my credit file that on xx/xx/xxxx your company obtained a county court judgment in default against me ( reference XXXXX). I did not receive any communication from you, nor from the court, and was entirely unaware of this action being taken. I have also not received any documentation from yourselves or from the court telling me what the claim is for, although I would assume it is a parking charge.
I would be grateful if you could send me copies of all relevant documentation and information you hold about me, pursuant to the Data Protection Act. Once I receive this information I will be able to consider my position with regards any payment that might be due to you.
It would be appreciated if you would confirm your consent to setting aside the default judgment. I enclose a draft consent order for your convenience. If this could be signed and returned to me by xxxxx(14 days) in order I might include it with my application to the court.
Yours sincerely
