Hi
I have a restriction with the Land Registry on my (jointly owned) house, which I'm in the process of selling. My conveyancer understands the process of informing the charge holder at the last minute and I'm aware that the debt won't go away afterwards, which I've budgeted for.
Having reviewed the paperwork from the court, the interim CO is for c£20k whereas the final CO is only for c£2k, due what looks like a digit being missed off. My question is, is the creditor due the £20k figure or will they be restricted to £2k?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks
