  • Ferratum, Silverback Law, CRS

    Hi all,
    Newbie here.

I received court action for an unpaid payday loan. contractual amount being 312.00. I wrote to the payday loan people explaining I could not pay and wanted to enter into an payment plan of some kind. they replied 4 months later citing my original email and apologising but all the while adding their interest and also engaging debt collectors. anyhow debt colletcors CRS came with different amounts which I disputed and refused to pay. Eventually Payday loan people come back and tell me I can pay 312.00 so long as I pay within 48 hours at that time I did not have it. one thing after another I get a County court letter for 648.36 + 130 fees for court and costs again I disputed and asked for mediation the law firm (Silverback Law) refused mediation. when I asked for a full breakdown Court fees ha been duplicated and included in the 648,36 this made their court claim false. I again went back. no apology nothing. Eventually today it gets to a point they will settle now at 312.00 (CRS) Silverback Law write and say their claimant will settle 312.00 + court fees 130.00 I wrote back to silverback law and explained I will settle for the 312.00 and no added fees in agreement with the claimant. I agreed this in full and final settlement with the claimant. my fear is will they continue to court (awaiting a date from the county court) if I pay the 312.00 will I be followed up with anything else? I do not trust any of these companies in the slightest.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.
