Hi hoping someone can help.
Late last year I received a letter from Nuneaton County Court applying for an attachment of earnings order on a historic debt, the claimant was Lowell.
I have reached an agreement with Lowell regarding monthly payments, put this on the statement of means form the court sent me and then got a letter back from the court stating that they have suspended the attachment of order as long as I honour my payments
So I thought that was all sorted. However today I received a letter, well my parent did at my old address from a baliff which says I have 2 days to complete a statement of means otherwise I will be called to court.
I called Lowell to confirm that the agreement was still in place and also Nuneaton County Council who have since passed the debt to Northampton County Council, none of these have any clue about the baliff letter and all are saying that there systems are showing that the attachment of order is suspended. I have called baliff support who don't know anything either, I can't call the baliff as he only works 9-2 will obviously call tomorrow.
Is there anything for me to be worried about? Is there anything else I can do?
