Hello all. I am very new to this forum.
Shortly Before xmas last year I received a letter from a company called Intrum within which it appeared they were searching for me. They said my address was forwarded to them as a possible address for me.
I ignored it and 2 weeks later they write another one staying i owed 7000 pounds and a ccj had been issue in 2007 october.
I honestly have no recollection of this. I have had many who were from debt buyers which culminated in charging orders on my house but since paid them off. 5 charges in all.
The original debt according to their letter was sold in 2005 from a bank. No mention of who to. CCJ Obtained in 2007 and then nothing there after (or so it appears) i havnt paid a penny towards this as i cant remember it. Then i noticed in my credit file a search by a company called 1st credit (Intrum brought it) entered two years ago. Also no CCJ number or Name of third part company debt was brought from.
Please how do i deal with this? I am very worried they enforce as they say in their letter that they may
