Who were the contracts with and when were they taken out?

Was there any reason why you didn't pay the two accounts?

How much is it they are claiming for each account?

Are you in a position to pay for it either as a lump sum or instalments?

If payments stopped around 4 years ago then it would probably be difficult to drag this out for another 2 years to make their claim statute barred. I'd imagine within the next 6 months they are probably likely to issue a claim if some form of payment isn't made.

The more information you provide, the better we can assist you.

Rather being hasty and sending letters, why not just take a step back for a second and get some assistance from us? If they have sent you a prove it letter, there's probably more you can ask them for than just proving it.

It would be helpful if you could post up the letter before claim as well as your response (personal info redacted) and we can see what we are looking at.
