  • County Court Judgement HELP

    Hi,

I have lost the claim with my neighbour over the party wall issues, it was a small couty court claim and I have to pay her 3k. The case was heard week ago and the judge advised me that I have 28 days until the judgement will be settled, and in meantime I should focus on my finances and come up with a payment propasal to the claimant. However, my 'lovely' neighbour keeps on pesting me about paying her in full which I cannot afford to do. She didn't even wait this 28 days and she keeps on saying she will file CCJ( County Court Judgement) against me and destroy my credit rating. I ave offered her to start paying her straight away but over 6 instalments, 500 pounds each, which is a big commitmet for me anyways but she wouldn't agree on that. Can you please advise me whether if the judge force the instalments amount on me it means that my credit rating will be affected eventhough I want to pay her everything back but in instalments, and I have proof of that in emails??
