I recently received a PCN through the post (nothing was left on my vehicle) after I used the JustPark app to pay for a parking space.
When signing up for the JustPark app I noticed my number plate was coming up incorrect and I phoned up, stating the app was claiming my car was a Ford when in fact it is a Seat. They said not to worry about it. I have been using the app for 2 months with no issues. My number plate on there appears as EO08YTK when in fact it is OE08YTK.
I have proof that I used my card to pay for parking and proof on the app. I appealed and it was rejected. I phoned up to speak to someone and he was completely unprofessional and rude. I’ve attached images of the fine. And an image of my parking reference number on the app.
Is there anything I can do now? As I have appealed with no luck. Can’t believe how picky they are being because 2 digits appeared in the wrong order!!
    thanks in advance!

Just before the experts get here, could you maybe ask for a copy of the call recording from when you telephoned them about the incorrect registration number. I'm not sure how big JustPark are and whether they'd record their calls so whether it is worth doing a Subject Access Request to them.
Is there a way on the app for you to change your registration yourself at all - or are people reliant on ringing up and having it corrected ?

Can you not just delete your existing incorrect car & add a new one with the correct details, I have not used Justpark but have changed my car with RinGo when I used my wife's car. That I know doesn't help with your existing issue, my only thought is these are not 'Fines' but 'Invoices'
Sorry i'm just thinking out loud, it might be irrelevant, I am not employed in anyway in the legal profession, please ensure you research any advice I give before using it I have been known to be wrong on multiple occasions.

As it's the IPC I would just sit back and wait and see what comes next. Does your phone havve the call to their number in the log? Showing that you phoned them to complain about the incorrect number?

How is the number entered. in the App and it recorded it incorrectly? Did you enter the manufacturer into the app?
