Hi,
I typed out the form that gives you all the info, but I couldn't figure out how to attach it.
I received a county court claim yesterday, for which I have already done the acknowledgement of service.
I intend to defend the claim, and have spent yesterday looking around here about how I can do that,
Issue Date: 27th October 2017
Original creditor: Very/Littlewoods
Claimant: Lowell Portfolio
Solicitor: Lowell Solicitors
Particulars of claim:
1) The defendant opened a Very/Littlewoods/Additions direct regulatedconsumer credit account under the reference XXXXXXX on 15/11/2012 ('the agreement).
2) In breach of the agreement, the defendant failed to make the required payments and the agreement was terminated.
3) The agreement was later assigned to the claimant on 12/06/2015 and written notice given to the defendant..
4) Despite repeated requests for payment, the sum of £1,055.65 remains due and outstanding. And the claimant claims
a) The said sum of £1,055.65
b) Interest pursuant to s69 county courts act 1984 at the rate of 8% per annum from the date of assignment to the date of issue, accruing at a daily rate of £0.231, but limited to one year, being £84.45.
c) Costs.

That is the censored version of the CPR 31-14 I am about to send out, and I just wanted someone to check over it and tell me if this is ok. I know I have to include the fee and send via recorded delivery.
Also, just to confirm that this is
a) sent to the solicitor
b) needs a £1 postal order
c) I am allowed to ask for everything I request as it pertains to the particulars of claim (I had read that you cannot ask for things unless included in this)
As this is a debt that has been sold on, do I also need to do the CCA, and does that go to very/littlewoods, or to the 'Claimant' as shown on the court form (Lowell portfolio)
I tried to research as much as I could before I bothered anyone with questions, but I just wanted someone to look over this for me before I put it in the envelope. It is due to be put in the post first thing tomorrow.
Thank you, you all do amazing things here.
Edit, I'm a little confused as to whether the letter i've filled in is a CPR 31-14, a CCA or both, after looking around the forums some more, it seems that other letters look different, or don't include the part about the postal order. This could just be because i'm looking at old threads and the templates have been updated, but can someone shed some light on that?
Thanks.
