  • Statutory declaration

I completed a statutory declaration for a motoring offence. It has been accepted, a new summons has been issued and I have a new hearing next year.

    My question -

Has my statutory declaration been accepted and this new hearing is an actual new hearing, ie the original hearing, decision, fine etc. cancelled in it’s entirety, or is this simply a hearing to determine evidence as to why I applied for a statutory declaration and thus to enable a new hearing to take after that? I hope this makes sense, thanks.

If my statutory declaration has been accepted and a new summons has been issued, would the warrant of control from the previous judgement also be cancelled? The original hearing was an SJP
