Hi all! I am intending to take Ryanair to small claims court for them to reimburse my expenses (taxi fares home and then back to the airport due to a cancelled flight). They are refusing to issue any compensation and also are refusing to reimburse me my full expenses (they only covered less than 20% claiming my taxi fares were excessive). I am preparing my letter of intended action and my question is do I use their Dublin address which is where their registered office is - Ryanair DAC of Corporate Head Office, Airside Business Park, Swords, Co Dublin , Ireland.
I live in the UK and the flight that was cancelled was from the UK to the EU. Would I still be able to issue the small claims court letter to my local court via MCOL or would this need to happen under EU jurisdiction? Wheen trying fill out the small claims online form they do need a UK address of the other party. Any advice?
