Hey all.
I am looking for some advice to see if I should proceed to speaking to a solicitor as the process last time way difficult.
The simple story is this.
last year October 2023 i tripped on a exposed manhole cover that was incorrectly installinstallent through to speak to a claim adviser as I suffered some injury.
After 3 months my solicitor said he would not take it to court because we have less than 70% chance of winningwis the defendant was unaware of the defect until I told tge defendant after my trip..
The problem I have is now over 8 months later the defendant has done nothing to fix the defect and its only got worse.
Would this work in my favour and is it worth speaking to another solicitor?
I have attached a picture of the defect.
i put the cone over it.
