  • CCJ with Cabot Financial - set aside?

    Hello,
First of all if your taking the time to read this I really appreciate it.
To paint my picture, I have struggled with finances in the past and currently trying to get myself sorted and onto a good position moving forward, I’m currently going through the process of an ADHD diagnosis also which is a factor on my previous misgivings financially.
A result of this is that I found a CCJ on my credit report which I know absolutely nothing about. It was sent to an address that I have never lived at (No idea how that could even happen?) and I’m not really sure what to do. I think I might know what this debt is about but I’m not too sure, but if it is what I think it is then this debt should be statue barred anyway. (An old bank overdraft, which the bank, despite me at the time having poor finances and gambling problems gave me a £3000 overdraft).
Any help or guidance on where I start with this and what I could do would really be appreciated.

    Thanks

Have a read of the link below, to familiarise with the set aside process and what initial steps you need to take. If you never lived at the address, then you should be able to set aside the judgment as of right i.e. mandatory set aside.
