Hi. I couldn’t go to a court case last November about my car finance claim but received a letter from the court stating that n case was found and I no court fees should be added to the account. I was so pleased as I have only 7 months of payments left to pay on a 5 year car loan. I contacted Moneybarn and offerred to pay £500 a month for the next 6 months. They did not respond but in January I received a new court claim papers. The went through the whole thing again, filled in my witness statement and sent in all my evidence of how often I have tried to sort this mess out. This time Moneybarn responded to my witness statement with incorrect statements. I replied informing them of their error and included evidence. Unfortunately today I was planning to
go court even though it’s really scarybut was taken ill at work and missed it.
how do I find out what the result was?
can someone just turn up and take my car away?
I can’t afford to lose my car - it will end my
marriage and cause no end of trouble. I can afford to pay the last 6 months I just need a direct debit set up like I have been asking for the last year after it failed on a banking error.
don’t get me wrong I know I have mismanaged this myself and should have kept a closer eye on things but life is so busy I just set up DD and pay bills automatically. Why won’t this company just let me reinstate a payment plan?
help and advice needed please to
sort this once and for all
