    Hi I'm in a similar position, I have acknowledged through mcol but not sure about the steps afterwards.
    I was sent exactly the same even though the debt is nearly 9 years old and I have moved about.
    I have adhd and mental health issues, so this is really stressing me out. I recieved the letter yesterday but the date is 7/11/2024.
    Any help would be most appreciated. The only date on the letter is when I took the credit card out in 2015.

      Acknowledge Claim - within 14 days from Service

      Defend Claim - within 28 days from Service (IF you acknowledged in time)

      If you fail to Acknowledge the claim you may have a default judgment awarded against you, likewise, if you fail to enter your defence within 28 days from Service.
