  • Covid - class action

Hello all - completely random question - I understand that the chances of success are very low/almost non-existent but is there any possibility of getting a class action lawsuit going to sue for compensation for the long term symptoms of Covid?

(I lost my sense of smell and taste and whilst it’s obviously not as serious as some of the other issues that lots of other long Covid sufferers have it’s incredibly frustrating and actually a little bit depressing - not to mention unhealthy as I have add a ridiculous amount of salt to everything I eat just so I can taste SOMETHING)

As I say, I’m sure there are literally hundreds of thousands of others who have much more serious symptoms - is there any previous precedent where a nation/government has been successfully sued for causing widespread health issues?

#toomanywhiskeysand should just go to bed instead of posting inane nonsense..

That’s what I’m asking - the Chinese government as it originated from there or the UK government for negligence in managing the outbreak??

well given that there is no absolute proof it originated there (though I agree it is extremely likely) and the UK actually did better in its response according to the statistics than many other countries my view would be no.

Hi, sorry to hear of your smell and taste loss. If it was caused by a vaccine you may have something, but then theres proving your case - I think we cant prove if we lose our senses ! skin maybe - as in leprosy

You would have more chance of taking Putin to court for the Ukraine war, ie zero
