  • Claimants directions questionnaire

    Good evening

I have received a questionnaire and it asks do I think I need to meet the judge face to face or do I think it could be done by the judge reading documents.

I want to put face to face I am the defendant. The claimant says that's not necessary. What is best? They are also trying to have the case heard in a court very far from my home.

It's the company I used to work for, I know they like to be deliberately awkward in these situations and I am trying to appear reasonable but I'm just concerned they are trying to make it so I am not there and things can be done in my absence. Why would they do this?

    Any advice please

    Ivan.

    Here's some Guidance - https://legalbeagles.info/library/gu...uestionnaire//

If you want a face to face hearing state that on the DQ. They don't want you to challenge the claim, the best way to challenge it is face to face.

On the DQ, put the County Court nearest to you.

Don't think about their strategy, just concentrate on yours. Keep a diary on the case, make sure they are playing by the Rules.
