  • RLP made payment what happens now?

i got caught stealing from primark got taken in the back room and had to give some detail (address, name) the other day i received the letter scared and stressed i made the payment of £128.50 straight away.

Also on the letter it's say they are "required to refer me to practice direction for Pre-action Conduct which has been published in the Civil Procedure Rules 1998". i don't know what this is? And what will come from this will they start sending me letters? will they take me to court?

i want to know what other people have experience after making the payment or have people just made the payment and that be the end.

no you panicked and they have pocketed your money., pity you paid it is a speculative invoice which we would say you do not owe anything., they went to court once and got slapped down by judge and left tails between legs. too late they have fraudulently (no matter what wimps may say)conned you, and they can since you paid get away with it>

Nothing happens now, and nothing would have happened if you had ignored the demand.

You are £128.50 poorer, they are £128.50 richer

They are encouraged their business model of threats is viable and will now hound some other victim.
