  • Application to set aside a CCJ aftermathh

I have to apply to set aside a CCJ, because I did not see claim form coming,so I did miss putting in a defense response, when the claim form eventually arrived.
In the application I had stated that I was still engaged with Creditor (a Bank) and my payment proposal stand with.
The Claimant on the CCJ letter is a debt company.
Before the CCJ was issued, I received all sort of letters from Claimant with continuous Claim letters upon claim letters and I ignored them, because I had no monetary business going on with the Claimant.
Now if my application becomes a success, would like to advice on what to do next.Claimant has a name PRA Group.

First of all, concentrate on your application to set aside. Afterwards you may have to contest the case, but that is only if you get to the stage of successfully having the judgement set aside.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
