  • Strange Question

I got a CCJ about 3 years ago. Stupid thing is, I just can't remember the name of the company who took me to court- it all happened so quick that i never even got the chance to go to court. Anyway, I'm now in a position to pay the debt off in full and I want to do that but don't know who to contact...I've heard nothing from anyone for 3 years and any info I had on the case was in my old, defunct PC

I have the case number as it's on my Equifax but that's all. In addition, if I can find out who I have to pay, how do I go about removing it from my credit file once paid?

    Many thanks for any help.

Even if you pay it off it will still be on you credit file marked as satisfied.
