After a 17year marriage ended I had to spend life savings in 2 trips to court to get what the law dictates I am entitled too. During my marriage I gave up my full time
Job to look after our 2 kids whilst my husband continued his career in the police force. We separated and he was of the view that I was not entitled to any of his full police pension which he he was in payment - I took advice; went to court and I was awarded 40% of his pension and a pension sharing order was issued by the court. A year and half later my husband will not pay his share of the admin costs to put this in place (I paid my share over 6months ago of £1800). I have had several conversations with the pension provider who inform me that they can not force him to pay it but I will have to go back to court. I have no money left to do that - does anyone have any advice /experience of this ?
